    • G. Bradley Ball, Managing Partner & Chief Executive Officer
      Brad Ball is a founding partner of Perimeter and a member of the management committee. As Perimeter’s Chief Executive Officer, he brings over twenty-one (21) years of institutional sales and executive management experience from Trusco Capital Management and Great-West Life and Annuity. At Trusco, Mr. Ball was Executive Vice President leading the firm’s sales, marketing and client service efforts. In addition, he was also a member of the executive committee. Mr. Ball received his B.A. degree from Oklahoma State University (1985). Mr. Ball has also served on the Advisory Board of the Institutional Investor Institute, been an advisory board member to mutual fund companies and also served as a board member of the Provider Advisory Committee of the Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America. 


    • Mark D. Garfinkel, CFA, Managing Partner, & Chief Investment Officer
      Mark Garfinkel is a founding partner of Perimeter and a member of the management committee.  As Perimeter’s Small Cap Growth Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer, he brings over eighteen (18) years of investment experience to the management of client portfolios.  Mr. Garfinkel’s previous experience includes managing over $2.5 billion in small growth assets for Trusco Capital Management, the institutional investment subsidiary of one of the nation’s largest banks.  Mr. Garfinkel was selected to design and lead the firm’s small cap growth discipline and served in this role for eight (8) years.  Prior to this position, he was a portfolio manager for the firm’s large cap growth discipline.  Mr. Garfinkel began his investment career as a research analyst in the bank’s Trust & Investment division in Nashville and later co-managed a bank common trust fund.  Mr. Garfinkel is a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts, received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1993, and earned his B.A. (1986) and M.B.A. (1987) from Vanderbilt University.


    • James N. Behre, Managing Partner & Director of Investment Research
      Jim Behre is a founding partner of Perimeter and a member of the management committee. As Perimeter’s Small Cap Growth Senior Research Analyst and Director of Investment Research, he brings over twenty (20) years of investment experience, specializing in small cap companies. Prior to the formation of Perimeter, Mr. Behre worked with Mark Garfinkel, CFA at Trusco Capital Management as the lead analyst and co-architect of the firm’s small cap growth investment process. In addition, he has had experience as a Securities Principal and Compliance Officer. Mr. Behre is a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts and earned his B.A. from Barry University (1984) and M.B.A. from Farleigh Dickinson University (1991).


    • Christopher J. Paolella, Managing Partner, Director of Marketing & Consultant Relations
      Chris Paolella is a founding partner of Perimeter and a member of the management committee. As Perimeter’s Director of Institutional Sales and Marketing, Chris brings over twenty-one (21) years of institutional sales, marketing and management experience from Trusco Capital Management and Great-West Life and Annuity. At Trusco, Chris was a Managing Director in charge of consultant relations and institutional sales, which included public funds and Taft-Hartley plans. Chris earned his B.A. from the University of Richmond (1985).

    • Theresa N. Benson, Partner, Director of Third-Party Distribution & Client Relations
      Teri Benson is a founding partner of Perimeter Capital. As Perimeter’s Director of Client Service & Third-Party Distribution, Ms. Benson brings over fourteen (14) years of institutional sales, marketing and client service experience from Trusco Capital Management and ICC Capital Management. At Trusco, she served as Director of Third-Party Distribution, where she developed mutual fund and sub-advisory partnerships with leading financial intermediaries. Ms. Benson earned her B.A. (1993) and M.B.A. (2001) from the University of Central Florida.

    • Adam C. Stewart, CFA, Partner, Director of Trading & Chief Compliance Officer
      Adam Stewart is a founding partner of Perimeter Capital. As Perimeter’s Small Cap Growth Trader and Director of Equity Trading, he brings over nine (9) years of investment experience from Trusco Capital Management and Franklin Templeton. At Trusco, he served as Head of Equity Trading along with managing equity trading operations. Mr. Stewart is a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts, received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001 and earned his B.A. (1997) from Auburn University.


    • Patrick W. Kirksey, Partner, Senior Research Analyst
       Patrick Kirksey is a founding partner of Perimeter Capital. As a Research Analyst on Perimeter’s Small Cap Growth investment team, Mr. Kirksey brings over eight (8) years of investment research experience from Trusco Capital Management, where he joined Mark Garfinkel, CFA and Jim Behre in 2004. Mr. Kirksey earned a B.S.B.A. from the University of Nebraska (1991), an M.B.A. from Georgia State University (1993).

       

    • Anthony R. Raab, Research Analyst
      Anthony Raab joined Perimeter’s investment management team in 2007. As a Research Analyst on Perimeter’s Small Cap Growth investment team, he brings over four (4) years of investment research experience from the Trust Company of the West (TCW) where he served as an equity analyst covering various sectors.  Anthony earned a BA (2003) from Duke University and is a Level III CFA Candidate. .

       

    • Brian M. Crawford, Research Analyst
      Brian Crawford joined Perimeter in 2008 as a Research Analyst on the Small Cap Growth investment team. Brian offers over sixteen (16) years of investment experience ranging from small cap growth company research for William Blair & Company to private equity due diligence while a partner at Adams Street Partners. Brian received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1995 and earned his B.S. (1992) from Georgia Institute of Technology and his M.B.A. (1997) from Harvard University .
       
       

    • P. Greg Deese, CPA, Controller
      Greg Deese joined Perimeter in 2006.  As Perimeter’s Controller, Greg brings over twenty-three (23) years of financial accounting experience from GMT Capital and The Hume Group.  At GMT Capital, Greg served as the Controller which included preparation of financial statements for four separate hedge funds with combined assets of over $2 billion.  Greg earned his B.B.A (1984) from the University of West Georgia and earned his CPA designation in 2000.

       

    • Steven C. Budde, Jr., Marketing Manager
      Steve Budde is a founding member of Perimeter Capital. As Perimeter’s Marketing Manager, he brings over four (4) years of investment experience from Trusco Capital Management and The Bank of New York.  At Trusco, he served as a Marketing Specialist joining Brad Ball and Chris Paolella in 2005.  Steve earned his B.S. (2002) from The University of New Orleans.
